St Aloysius Higher Secondary School  was founded in 1953.This educational institution has illuminated a great many generations for more than a century and still continues to be a towering light house of knowledge paving a successful life for all who come here in pursuit of knowledge.It was upgraded as a Higher Secondary School in 2000.The school has 1625 students,63 teaching faculties and 09 non teaching staff.

The school praveshanolsavam was celebrated on June First of this academic year.
World Environment Day
World Environment Day was observed 10/06/2011 by planting saplings in the school campus and distributing the saplings to the pupils of the school
PTA General Body Meeting
PTA General Body Meeting was held on 10/06/2011.In the meeting, a group dicussion was made on the academic matters for areas of excellence to be scaled.Executive members were elected.
Reader's week
The readers' week celebrations were inaugrated on 10/06/2011.Various competitions and stage performances were conducted to add charm and elegance to the Readers' week.
Merit Evening
The School Merit Evening was held to honour the outstanding Teachers and students of the last Accademic year.Sri Madhavan Balakrishnapillai was the Chief Guest on the occassion.

St.Aloysius Day Celebrations was held on 21/06/2011,which won the hearts and the admiration of the parents and the commons of the locality
