St. Aloysius Higher Secondary School , founded in 1953, is embarked on the endevour to impart high quality education and moral upbringing to the young and thereby preparing them to face the challenges that life throws up and strive for a future brimmed with hope and excellence. Run by the corporate Management of schools - Arch - Diocese of Changanacherry, it is dedicated to St Aloysius Gonzago, the patron saint of students. Though run by the catholic management, it is secular in spirit and practice. The activities of the school have been arranged so as to achieve the motto of the school -LOVE - KNOWLEDGE - SERVICE; to instill a spirit of love, a sense of service and a zest for knowledge. The school is located at Athirampuzha, kottayam, Kerala. The Higher Secondary Section was started in 2000. More than 400 students study here in the Science, Commerce and Humanities stream. Eversince its begining the school has shown a steady growth in academic and non academic fields. Last year we got 97% result in Science, 98% in Commerce and 88% in Humanities. Sri. Tomy Joseph took charge as the Principal on May 1st and under his able stewardship the school is striving forward.
