Debating & Oratory Club

The school has a very powerful debating & oratory club which helps the students get used to debates and extempore speech.This will enable them develop their communication skills and perform fluently and confidently in interviews and Group disscussions in future.

Teams for the various Debate Competitions held by schools and agencies around are also trained by the teachers in charge of the Club.

Literary Association

Helps to promote and inculcate the rich heritage of different language like English, Malayalam, Hindi. Students are motivated to use fluent and correct language in different situation and contexts  which surely will help them in future while facing the competitions of the world.

 Tourism Club

Study tours are conducted every year with the purpose of familiarising children with our evironment, different lifestyles, habits, culture, customs etc. Usually trips are made to places of Historical, Industrial  and scientific importance or places known for scenic beaty and climate.

Career Guidance

St.Joseph's Career unit is always in the front to make enquiries and collect informations about different courses and careers suited to its students. In the midst of the busy schedule of covering the syllabus, due concentration is given to this field.

Chief Activities of the Club:

• Inform students of the announcement of different entrance exams, date of exams, eligibility etc. 
• Introduce different conventional and non conventional/new generation courses.
• Detailed course familiarisation by experts in respective fields.
• Provide brochure, leaflets and materials etc.of different courses.
• Individual career counselling as a part of individual attention.

Career Cell & Commerce Dept.

 To fulfil the aspirations of commerce students, well known and lucrative professional courses like CA, CS,ICWA etc. are introduced and detailed information about these courses are given to the students in addition to regular classes. As a result of this many students of St.Joseph's are placed in the professional way. Other commerse related courses like BCom., MBA,Foreign Management  are also introduced.

Commerce Students of St.Joseph can undoubtedly say that the two years they live in the school are worth their life itself when compared to the duration of the course  and the career prospects the get.

Health Club- adolescent Education

Students are made aware of the different health issues and learn how to be awakened to the ways of the world.

Moral lessons and Sexual morality are also communicated to students from time to time.

Counselling facility is made available for them so that they may stabilise and strengthen their personality and become mature individuals in every sense.
