QUEST ,the All Kerala Inter Higher Secondary Quiz,sponsered b the illustrious Kandankerry family in memory of Msgr.Cyriac Kandankerrythe founder of St jOseph's school,is being conducted under the auspices of the school every year in the month of August where the birth day of the veteran priest falls in.

Rules and Regulations      :

• Participation is restricted for Higher Secondary Students
• A school may send one/two teams (Both boys and Girls)
• There will be an Elimination round and Five teams will selected to the Final Round
• Consolation prizes will be awarded to the fourth and fifth places
• There will be audience prizes too
• Decision of the Quiz master will be final.

Registration Fee              : Varies from time to time

Syllabus for the Quiz     : Current Affairs,History & Geography,Sports,General Science,Visual & Print Media,Literature and Marketing.

Msgr.Cyriac Kandankerry and St.Joseph's School 

Msgr.cyriac Kandankerry(1852-1919) born in the illustrious Kandankerry family,was ordained as priest in 1878,served various parishes in Changanasserry Archdiocese and was appointed Vicar General in 1908. He was made Domestic Prelte by H H the Pope. Being a pioneer of Education in central Travancore,he was instrumental in the founding of St Joseph's Girls school.His contributions to the Civic and Cultural growth of Changanasserry town is part of its history.
