Genesis and Excellence of St. Peter’s
It was the boble thought of our founder late very Rev. Fr George Mukkattukunnel (Jr), an honest visionary and veteran priest of the Archdiocese of Changanacherry to establish our school in the year 1921 to cater to educational needs of Christian Minority Community, but admission is opened to all irrespective of caste and creed. It bloomed into a Higher Secondary School blessfully happy with St. Antony’s Forane Church, Kurumpanadom and approved by Higher Secondary Directorate Thiruvananthapuram, in the year 1998. We are fortunate enough to have His Grace Mar Joseph Perumthottam, Arch Bishop of Changanacherry and His Grace Mar Joseph Powathil, Arch Bishop Emeritus as our patrons. Very Rev. Fr Mathew Nadamukath, the Corporate Manager, our source of inspiration and Very Rev. Dr. Xavier J. Puthenkalam our Local Manager are keen on the development of the School every respect. Our Institution is marching to new frontiers under the captaincy of our beloved Principal Smt. Sheelamma Varghese and the Headmaster Mr. Joy Joseph.
As an Institution Par Excellence, our School provides a high class learning facility in a competitive yet collaborative atmosphere to help the students to gain knowledge for a successful career and value oriented living. This co-educational Institution offers a caring atmosphere for each pupil. This Junior Varsity finds its position in Madappally Panchayath with good travelling comforts.

THE COAT OF ARMS
Our Emblem is ‘Burning Lamp and Open Book motif’. Two Greek letters ‘Alpha’ and ‘Omega’ depicted in the Open Book indicate that ‘God is the Beginning and the End’. The Burning Lamp stands for education imparted to lead from darkness to Light.

LOCATION & ROUTE MAP
The school is located at Kurumpanadom, 7 kms to the east of Changanacherry in Kottayam district. Transportation facilities are available to the school from all parts of the district. The school campus is socketed in the pristine beauty of a typical Kerala village. It has a very congenial atmosphere for an enriching academic life free from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The campus is self-contained providing all the facilities for higher secondary education.
